South of Manhattan’s Central Park and just west of Fifth Avenue is where“FELISSIMO New York” was located. In a turn-of-the-century townhouse (designed by the firm Warren & Wetmore, of Grand Central Station fame), FELISSIMO New York offered unique products that celebrated the fusion of art and ecology, East and West, and man and nature. Attracting the attention of sophisticated New Yorkers, FELISSIMO New York is remembered today and still enjoys the praise of FELISSIMO’s loyal customers.

Since its opening in 1992 until its recent remodeling, FELISSIMO New York has had over one million visitors, including celebrities, super-models and the media.
It was here that FELISSIMO established the Design 21 Award in collaboration with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) commemorating the United Nations’ 50th Anniversary. As part of the activities, FELISSIMO New York conceived the Tribute 21 project, a series of 21 lithographs created by well-known artist Robert Rauschenberg, celebrating 21 humanitarian themes for the 21st century.

In 2001 FELISSIMO New York was re-christened “FELISSIMO Design House.” Its mission is to inspire lifestyle models for the new century.
